Note to Self...

Being Nosey never hurt anyone but YOU! As I'm walking to work (don't ask why I walk to work either), I notice 2 people arguing very intensely in the street. This is very odd to me because I live in a rather quiet, suburban neighborhood. So, naturally I think the 2 culprets are "outsiders" just visiting. So I slow my "gotta get to work" stroll down immensely to poke my nose into their conversation/argument. It doesn't matter if I stood still right in front of them because they wouldn't have noticed me at all...so that premise alone excuses my nosiness right? That's what I thought... Until I tripped over a HUGE rock (disguised as my left foot) and fell right on my face!!! Oh my goodness, I thought they threw something at me! I'm completely embarassed...and did I mention I'm on my way to work? ...in a black shirt?! ...now covered in dirt??!!! I don't know anyone else that these things happen to!

The worst part about it is that I actually spent time doing my makeup today and now I have to go home to wash my face and change!

(is it wrong if I just wipe certain parts of my face to make it seem like a natural, deep blushed, heavy smokey eye effect??)

Don't judge me!

26 and still in the mix!

Wow, so this is what blogging is! My very first (Attempt at a) blog, so here goes!  I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 26 year old (for about another 2 weeks) female residing in Washington, DC by way of sunny California!  I decided to jump coasts last year simply because....I wanted to jump coasts and experience something new. This sounds fun and exciting right?! My sentiments exactly...until I got here! Relocating is one of the most difficult things I've done...getting adjusted career wise, and making friends....EVEN more difficult!!! I'm a work in progress though, so don't give up on me yet!


Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked...back to the blog!  This blog will take you on a journey, as I see it.  Some topics may be laugh out loud funny...others, more serious...some irrelevant to you all together! But that's the beauty of this whole blogging thing (at least that's what I've heard).  I write what I want and hope someone out there actually reads it and enjoys it...or just reads it! ;-) I seem to have an opinion about everything (which is a good thing to me...again, my opinion! ;-)) so why not share my thoughts with you? I knew you'd see my point!
